The Sneads Ferry Shrimp Festival is the official Shrimp Festival of North Carolina. Held the the third full weekend of October every year, the festival features fresh fried or boiled shrimp plates plus a parade, fireworks, vendors, live music and more. The party kicks off on Friday night August 21 with the Sneads Ferry Shrimp Ball, a dining and dancing party with live music.
