NC Catch Summit 2025: Sustainable seafood, local flavor
Whether you’re someone who fishes for a living or enjoys cooking and eating fresh seafood, and seeking out the best seafood restaurants, this day of education and deliciousness will inspire and teach you how to stand up for local seafood. Your voice matters!
You'll explore reports on the status of the state's fisheries and seafood industry and learn about trends and opportunities in seafood. If you fish for a living or work in other areas of seafood, check out a session on marketing best practices.
During lunch, tour Carteret Community College's Aquaculture Technology center or the culinary school. You'll also hear from top N.C. chefs who work with seafood and commercial fishers. And you'll discover more about NC Catch's African American in North Carolina Seafood project.
You must register to attend this event.This event is free, but a continental breakfast and lunch are not included. You may add-on both meals for $20 when you register.
