Chefs Bring "Fresh Off the Boat" Seafood to Pittsboro, NC
Chefs James Clark and Bill Hartley opened their restaurant, Postal Fish Company, last October in Pittsboro, NC. What makes them unique is is that they take turns driving to the NC coast to buy seafood fresh from the boat and bring it back to cook "expertly prepared" dishes for their customers. The duo calls their cooking style "coastal cooking in a Piedmont kitchen." Dishes from the coast you may see on their frequently changing menu depending on the fresh catch and what's in season are pan roasted NC Sheepshead or wood-grilled Southport Cobia. They also have non-seafood dishes and vegetarian options but are primarily a seafood restaurant.
